I officially finished the Third Doctor era yesterday and it already feels so bittersweet. I know many elements of that era carry over into the first season of the Fourth Doctor's run, but I know it won't quite be the same.
Aww. And that's quite a sensible plan. It's all too easy to binge stuff, sometimes! Although I shall be eager to see what you make of the next new old Doctor, of course.
I don't think Classic Who has any other era where there's a place they hang out other than the TARDIS, but there are definitely some really cozy/solid team!TARDISes to come. (The Sixties was especially good for that, but you've got Sarah-Harry-Four next up, which is a combination I'm very fond of.)
*salutes Three* Planet of the Spiders is a very mixed thing, but it's a pretty moving and good regeneration. ♥
