I think the vocals on the album sound strained/too talky. It's entirely possible that it plays better with the video but on its own its not something I would really wanna listen to. I think I may be harsh on it because when I saw them live in concert Awsten's voice was clearly shot but I still thought he sounded better than he does on the album. idk.

I rewatched both seasons of the original when they cry (along with all the OVAs) last summer in preparation for the "reboot" and it was a really good time (and the right call considering what the new show actually turned out to be). Have you checked out the new stuff?
