Twenty Eight
Today's my birthday and I'm not freaking out about it like I did last year so that's good.
I think in general I just feel less paranoid about A) getting older and B) what ages are considered "old". I even feel less anxious about approaching my 30s though I suspect I'll have another freak-out in a couple of years. In part I think this is because younger Millennials have less of a stigma about doing XYZ in your late twenties and thirties that I think older Millennials and older generations frowned upon, so it doesn't feel like a doomsday clock in the way it once did. Ironically, this is the last "free" weekend I have before my summer plans essentially take over my life and I am HYPE.
Starting tomorrow, though, I need to get back on my exercise regiment though. I've fallen off it the past week and it's really shown and the my birthday is pretty much the only reason why I'm allowing myself to consume things that aren't coffee today. Maybe if I'm feeling up to it I'll manage to go on the elliptical tonight.
On another note, there's supposed to be an Orphan Black announcement later today. It was one of my favorite shows of all time and they were in early development of a possible "spinoff" a few months back so I wonder if that's what it's gonna be. Either way I'm hype.
