Some random updates about quarantine and media consumption:

TV Binge Watch: So far in quarantine I've all caught all the way up with Élite, Nancy Drew, Kim's Convenience, The 100, Dead to Me, Castle Rock, The House of Flowers (La Casa de las Flores), and I have a season left of Workin' Moms. Right now I'm currently working on the second seasons of Westworld and Succession but it's slow going because Westworld is going through a particularly rough stretch of episodes. Once I finish those up I'm planning on watching Leverage for the very first time, and I honestly have no idea how that's going to go or how I'm gonna feel about it since I've been promising a friend for years that I'd take a crack at it. I also kind of want to binge all of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power but after what happened with Voltron: Legendary Defender I'm still inherently suspicious of Netflix cartoons.
TV On the Air: I've been keeping up with what shows have still be airing the past couple of months. Since mid-March I've finished out the current seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Good Girls, Riverdale, Katy Keene, Legacies, Supernatural, and Superstore. How to Get Away with Murder also ended it's six season run a couple of nights ago and I was happy it was able to complete production on a proper finale before all this started. Currently the only two shows I'm still watching week-to-week are Killing Eve and Roswell, New Mexico, but The 100 and The Bold Type are slated to return soon enough.
Anime: I've put my binge watches on hold but I'm planning to pick them up again soon, with my properities being finishing out the third season of Chihayafuru and the entirety of Digimon Xros Wars (Fusion) and Digimon Universe: App Monsters so I have them under my belt whenever the Blu-ray finally drops for Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. As far as the week-to-week goes, this season I've been watching Arte, Fruits Basket, Ascendance of a Bookworm, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Wave, Listen to Me!, and My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!. I'm really enjoying all of them and I'm glad at least three of them have already finished production and won't have episodes postponed. I was watching The Millionaire Detective - Balance: Unlimited and Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater but they both went on hiatus after a couple of episodes due to COVID-19.
Star Wars: I was gonna make a separate post about this but I never got around to it. On May the 4th I watched what I had left of Star Wars Resistance (8 episodes) as well as the entire new final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (12 episodes). I'm really happy to report that I had a lot of fun which is a relief as it was my first serious foray back into Star Wars after The Rise of Skywalker broke my heart (what little will I did have left at the time was channeled into watching the season finale of The Mandalorian). The time away from it did me a lot of good and I'm honestly happy that it's gonna be a while before we get the next new thing, and I'm glad I can let myself be excited for it.
Doctor Who: I'm still on my break from Classic Doctor Who, but I'm tentatively planning on picking it back up whenever I dive into Leverage later this month. While I don't have any real timeline goals, part of me thinks it would be nice to time it so I finish out the Fourth Doctor's era on my 29th birthday on June 13th. ALSO, I bit the pullet and ordered those The Collection Bluray box sets for seasons 10, 12, and 18 off Amazon, and I really love them! Because I'm an American and not British or Australian I didn't get the fancy limited edition packaging that those releases got, but I'm honestly fine with it as the regular Blu-ray casing is not just more sturdy but is also SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER. Not to mention I even have the option to buy the sets at all when people overseas have to deal with resellers massively upping the price hundreds of dollars. I'm keeping my eye on the sets for seasons 19, 23, and 26 but currently those are going for around $50-60 when I managed to get the season 12 set for UNDER $20, so I'm debating a bit. But yeah, I guess I'm in this for the long haul.
(On a related note, I'm gonna take up
thisbluespirit's suggestion and watch Blake's 7, which is something I'd already been toying around with, but I'm currently undecided if I should do it as a palette cleanser between the Fourth and Fifth Doctors or if I should wait to watch it until I've finished all of Classic Who. I'm kind of leaning toward the former atm but that could change.)
Video Games: Like much of the world, I've been playing A LOT of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but yesterday they finally released Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Megamix on the Switch in the West and I'm forseeing a lot of time spent playing that since I loved the Vita games. I've also made some headway in the Switch port of the first Devil May Cry and Kill la Kill IF, and part of me wants to jump into Pokemon Sword since I've physically had the game sitting on my shelf for months. But I still have my 3DS and I never finished Pokemon Sun and I kind of wanna take a crack at that first since I love that generation of the franchise. On a related note, one of my favorite video games of all time Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom has a remake coming out for the Switch in June and I'm insanely excited to finally get my hands on that! I hope that they'd also be willing to do Switch ports of other Spongebob games because I've had a major itch to revisit some of those as well.

Also, as far as writing goes, I've made outlines for my
nordipalooza fills and starting either tomorrow or Monday I'm gonna sit down and really jump into writing those as posting closes on May 24th. I also have some drafts I'd like to finally finish up and post, particularly those Doctor Who drabbles that I talked about last month. I also really want to finish the final chapter of my Hetalia fic Personal Chaos at some point over the next couple of months since it's ninth anniversary is July 25th and I just posted the penultimate chapter last November after a four year hiatus.
Health-wise I'm doing okay. Nothing in terms of what's going on in the wider world, but I need to think of ways to manage my eating and exercise better since over the past couple of weeks have been not great in that regard. I've been making more of an effort to cook stuff that's not frozen or prepackaged meals and only ordered take-out once (for a salad) so I feel like I'm on the right track, I just need to commit to it. For the record, a citrus glaze works really well as a marinade for pork.

Sounds sensible! One TV show made out of cardboard and quarries at a time! But, ha, I'm glad you'll be trying it. Of course, no one can tell whether or not someone will like something, and B7 is definitely an oddity in many ways. But I think the overall odds are good. XD
(Btw, if you are seriously contemplating it and you prefer not to be spoiled for things, I would be very careful - if it's not already way too late to say this - about googling or reading just about anything about it. If you prefer to know what you're getting into, then obv. ignore me. Or feel free to ask me whatever you need to know when you get to that point. ♥ Also you will have to use YT/Daily motion or similar, as the US is still lacking a release for it because of the Terry Nation estate and copyright issues, unfortunately.)
I don't have a blu-ray player, so I'm very impressed by your blu-ray collection acquisitions! Shiny! And no doubt taking up less space on the shelves than my endless DVD collection (so I can't complain too hard).

Also, I just started Pokemon Sword myself yesterday and already have 9 hours on it-- it's a LOT of fun and I'm really enjoying it. They're going to release an expansion pack in June (for $30, bleh) which looks good, too!
